In this blog we will see the techniques of editing and transition from analogue to digital throughout the years. When did editing begin? Editing started off around the very end of the 19th century and was featured in the 1898 film 'Come Along, Do!' by Robert Paul. In the film it had the first shot being of an elderly couple outside an art exhibition that proceed to walk inside, the 2nd shot is of them being inside the building.
